I spoke to the registry of the Supreme Court of Western Australia about the Court case this morning.

I was told that the matter had a hearing in November before Justice Corboy and that the decision was reserved. This means that the Judge is in the process of drafting a written judgment - when he finishes he will call on the parties and deliver the judgment.

Accordingly, anyone who says that the decision is "due" by a certain date is wrong and anyone who says they expect the decision by a certain date is speculating. The decision will be handed down when the Judge is finished writing it.

However, from experience, I would expect a decision within 2 months.
