My understanding is that the announcement below is the only announcement that quantifies any write down on VCS.

On 13 October, in their market update they reported the NTA of VCS at $610m.

Thus, more unsubstantiated rubbish. It will take many years IMO before the value of VCS is known, and it is certainly not zero, particularly when you have mortgages supporting loans.
