I am in two trains of thought here at the moment, still solid valad supporter though.
1. All other reits (that I watch) have release pre HY writedown announcements, ranging from -6% to -12% property devaluations. Concerned why Valad has not joined the party, something to hide.
2. Valads writedowns are going to be negligible compared to others, not at worst end of scale, and there is no necessity to scare or soften market first. When overseas writedowns are converted in AUD then the valuations still stack up as Aud is lower in comparison to other currencies.
We will all know week beginning 23 Feb, wont we.
