The top article is complete crap. Either McCain listened in (by invitation) or he did not. I very much doubt that the Trump Team invites McCain or other Republican opponents of Trump to "listen in".
So why is Russian Intelligence trying to hoist McCain up on his own petard? Possibly McCain has been in Syria talking to the Kurds in Kobane. Would Trump know about and endorse this? My expectation is that they would.
