The article relays that information. McCain could have seen transcript or he could have listened to conversations courtesy of the CIA."

"McCain is a high profile public figure. And this is speculation surrounding him. If it turn out not to be true, we'd report on that as well. We'll continue to report on the speculation surrounding him without saying definitively that it is true. It's of legitimate interest."
