If you have 5 mins to spare at Macca's, just ask for a burger with something left out, e.g. "I'll have a McGristle, hold the pickle". They then have to make it for you on the spot, served fresh and toasty hot. Beats all the sad looking dead dried out stuff they couldn't sell to anyone else.......

Can't help thinking of that Michael Douglas movie (Falling Down?) every time I see all the crap waiting to be served up at fast food joints !
