Many conservative people have made the claim that they didn't think ssm would get up despite them being totally opposed to it. Particularly on hc.
They don't just shrug their shoulders . They jump and down and carry on like spoilt children today even though the change is now history.
So, given their ' passion ' on the subject, I find it incredible that they " didn't bother to vote ".
Claiming you didn't bother to vote and that is the reason ssm got up is a poor excuse. And, makes you look pretty dumb as well.
On a side note I notice that the world has not ended now that ssm is legislated. In fact, none of the things that the conservative hand wringers predicted have happened. Everyone has got on with their lives.
