The Directors of Paladio Group Limited are pleased to announce that its subsidiary, McFee Pty Ltd, has been awarded a $5.5 million contract for the upgrade of an existing yard conveyor at the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal in Queensland.
Planning work will commence immediately, with McFee’s site crew mobilising to site in early May 2007. McFee’s scope of work involves the supply of management, specialist trades and all conveyor components associated with the upgrade including all off site planning and commissioning. The contract is expected to be completed in the third quarter of calendar 2007.
Commenting on the project win, Mr. D!ck Wright, Managing Director of Paladio said, “We are pleased that McFee has been awarded this project as a Tier 2 contractor, a first for McFee at the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Upgrade by owner Babc@ck & Brown Infrastructure”.
McFee was involved in the original construction of the materials handling equipment at Dalrymple Bay during the 1980’s when the scope of work included the erection of one stacker and three reclaimers. This contract award continues McFee’s expanding presence in the Queensland coal sector. McFee has also been invited to tender on additional packages for the capacity upgrade at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal.
