Blackgold - the elevated gas shows mentioned 2 weeks ago is the same zone that they are now saying is likely to contain a commercial gas zone. Hence elevated gas shows WERE SIGNIFICANT.
The primary intervals being dry below that zone is what hurt us - and we didn't know that was the case until yesterday. Last week's announcement not mentioning any shows was probably a good hint though.
Onto Rayburn now. Sounds like it's a lot closer to Adelphi Energy's Ilse-1 well on the New Taiton prospect which is set up for production testing at the moment. Plenty of stacked targets, so a good chance of some gas shows getting the price back up over 30c early in the drill.
