thanks for those AEC Update figures jonkey1995 I see now they get their expectational votes to come figures from the number of envelopes sent out to voters which I know from experience are not always used on the day with voters finding it is possible for them to vote absent or in their electorate on the day.
and yes the absentees are favouring Cathy M.

trader1, I assume your 5600 is the diff' between the no. counted and the total no. on roll which doesn't allow for those pesky recalcitrants who simply don't vote.

If jonkey's figures on votes to come are accurate Sophie is all but gone she really does need 3500 postal votes still coming in and that would seem very unlikely.
