Over quoting is much more sinister than underquoting from a fiduciary responsibility.
When a market slows the practice becomes rife, to the benefit of the agent, his Wife, mother, brother, sister, cousin, friend, and or so called arms length business associates.
Over quote the Auction or the sellers expectation to potential buyers, no one turns up and guess what.....the winner is.....
