You can't understand a comment to the effect that at the same time they were reporting profits (8 or more months ago, whatever) they were continuing to build inventory on their balance sheet that they're now having to heavily discount?
So you're valuing the company on those historical profits rather than consider (unlike the rest of the market) exactly how they might trade out of the present situation and how much damage they might have done to their brand via this recent discounting?
