Margaret Smith/Court has every right to say what she thinks. It's a free speech world here in Oz if she is not being defamatory. I don't agree with her, but that doesn't not make me think badly of her.
Her tennis record speaks for itself, and that's all that counts.
As for encouraging that some time sourpuss Serena to keep on playing so as to maybe break her record just shows what a jerk he really is.
