    The NRL rules are that if you are found guilty of an offence and you cause an injury then your penalty is a function of the injury.... in this case McLean should not play again... ie suspended for life for McKinnon's injury.

    Some will say it was an unfortunate accident and it wasn't meant to happen, sure, it's no different to those that take the risk and drink and drive.. they didn't mean to badly injure or kill someone but they took the risk and should now pay for their actions.
