This report is indeed an excellent one at face value....unfortunately, as with most common sense suggestions relating to the efficient and sensible delivery of welfare to those who truly deserve it, we can probably expect a barrage of complaints and criticisms from those who always seem to know better. Sadly, these same loud people never have a better plan.
It's very obvious that the Australian Welfare System is in need of an over-haul so what better time than now to make improvements that will benefit those who deserve continued support and importantly, benefit the Australian Tax-payers who actually fund the system and like to know that their money is being well-spent. ie. Sensibly..
As with the impact of the Budget, a few noses will definitely be put out of joint by implementing the needed changes but; to do nothing here will only ensure that matters will worsen over time.
