For what its worth most "vaccine experts" arent actual clinical physicians but rather scientists/postdocs in the pharmaceutical/public health sector.
Not true. The most senior senior vaccine researchers are immunologists (physicians) with a PhD. They just prefer laboratory work to treating patents.
