FRACP is in itself a generalist training. You spend 6-7 years doing a med degree (whereby you study all aspects of medicine), 3 years as a JMO/RMO (where you practice all aspects of medicine), 3 years as a BPT (studying all aspects of internal medicine) with a measly 2 years of actual immunology specialisation tacked on at the end. This does not produce experts in a field.
