I've only seen the moulds in the gold room and they look to be for 100 ounce bars
about the volume of a 200 ml beer glass
checking my numbers: gold about 20 times the density of water that would be about 4000 g (about 130 troy ounces)
my guess is they are playing around with screens to see which mesh size produces the best recovery from the primary grinding circuit, that's what I would do because getting it right could increase the capacity of the plant well above nameplate capacity
