History-
The Morning Star mine was one of Australia's most prodigious gold mines yielding 883,000 ounces of gold at an estimated grade of at least 26.5 grams per tonne. Scant records were kept of gold production between 1862 and the mid 1890s, so the production figure is estimated to be very conservative as is the grade of gold produced. The actual average grade was just shy of 26g/t Au. but tailings were deposited in Morning Star Creek and estimated to grade between 2g/t - 5g/t Au.
IMO Production Grades should be on par with past grades, hopefull we will find out... the actual ounces IMO will be the interesting part, but MCO are now mining on several reefs.
The grades from the tailings in the Morning Star Creek look good and most likely on the rise of POG.
