Hi Plough, Ventilation is not a problem in the Decline, you can use LayFlat ducting to minimise area of your diametere Vent column, also your Decline will become exhaust once you have a connection with your Shaft so no ventbag required(if vent officer chose to) The Trucks get loaded from a StockPile to which it needs to reverse into to get loaded, so they just point there noses up ready to go. Exhausting fumes will always pose issues exspecially the deeper you go, but it will depend on the diametre of your Intake and Exhaust and Exhaust fan(MW)this combined will give you your volume/metres of Air/per/secound which inturn will dictate the total size of the KW Motors(ratings) you can use in your mine. Also a Decline is very favourable as a secound means of Egress if you already have a luxury in a Shaft, and agree the deeper you go then Shaft becomes better economically, not sure how far the Shaft goes at present, so I assume no extensions are required for sometime?
