just for the sake of storytelling on a listless day : going back to my march, 2009 call. at the time there was no talk of a j/v or chinese, or anything. the focus was on getting MCO back on track after the fiasco of late 2008. however, my wife, in a clairvoyant mood, kept telling me that MCO were in talks with Rio Tinto. the words Rio Tinto kept ringing in her "ears" along with the idea of some party who were real keen on the MCO ground. those were tumultuous days were things looked gloomy for the world.

so the idea with the wife evolved to an idea that it was a chinese mob looking at MCO. so i e-mailed the co. with the idea. the idea was dismissed out of hand. yet we now know that indeed, MCO were in in-depth talks with a chinese mob - which came to fruition.

now lets see what evolves from this symmetry with BBY.
