i have backtested strategies, u name it, bullish engulfing, macd crossing, mfi oversold, 5 day consecutive rise short signal, etc, and here is the interesting thing, if i reversed direction just for fun, ie if i should go long, then i will short.....u know what, there is no difference in the results.

while i dont totally believe it is random, but wow, it sure is pretty close to being random.
check out MKS.L. london stock. falling profits, but record SP rises...and i mean record, day after day after day it rises...but profits have been falling....
