If you are shorting / does that not mean you have the responsibility to deliver the actual stock @ contract price.
so you are a “winner” if you are expecting the stock to fall as you are not expecting to fill the short order but take the premium for which you can reload.
conversely - you’ll would be a “loser” if gold (RRL) keeps going up…. As you dilute your profit having to cover the short position which goes against you?
Don’t have an opinion- but good luck to you….
