In the next property bust - whenever that is - I'll certainly be keen to invest in LMI - the banks seem to go through cycles of DIY LMI, then getting their fingers burned, and then outsourcing it etc. I think we are approaching the DIY stage, where the banks are looking to capture more of the mortgage market's value.
