This is my point. ABN AMRO acted as the Lead Manager to the share placement and rights issue for AVX and received fees in this regard. They were also the underwriter to the renounceable rights issue of shares by Avexa in March 2007 and received fees for this also. However, thankfully for the sector, they do attempt to prop up the ASX bio-sector which is under severe pressure.
