Hope you are right TaipanN (and you make some very valid points). I just have this nagging feeling that negotiations are dead for the moment. Human element always plays a role (even on larger deals) - and presumably people got frustrated when no deal could be done, negotiations on ice and it needs an "event" for parties to re-engage IMHO. Anyway, time will tell - all we can do in the meantime is "hurry up and wait". :-)
