Further to the estimates etc in earlier writings I will now attempt to see what may be possible for the PPY technology using information/data from the MD report to shareholders (see report/slide presentation on PPY:ASX):

Mt Uncle has 225Ha under banana plantation. They have 1500 to 3000 trees available per Ha. Let's assume 2,000 trees/Ha this means that there are 450,000 stems/year available for harvesting or 1,500 trees/day assuming 300 operating days per year. Let's assume 2sqm veneer per tree (I think that's what ppyinterest has been saying) then from Mt Uncle PPY should be able to produce 2sqm/tree x 450,000 trees/year = 900,000sqm of veneer per year or 225,000sqm veneer/quarter and at $5.00/sqm that's $1,125,000 worth of revenue per quarter and I am back in the game!!!!! So, why is PPY only producing 2,000sqm per six months? By the way 1,500 trees per day means the plant would have to process 65 trees/hour over 23 hours (which should be achievable). Looking at the slides showing the harvesting trailers there are about 30 trees transported which means 2 trailers/hour for 23 hours also achievable if they harvest through the night?! So, what's wrong? Why aren't they delivering the results?
