I need to correct you on the difference btw CER and MDT - CER is paying a distribution (albeit small) MDT is not. I'm not certain how conservative MDT were with the asset devaluation were, however what we do know is that CER commenced its downward revaluations early in the downswing. Although we are climbing up a steep mountain with CER there really is light at the end of the tunnel. No financier in the right mind would deny CER the opportunity to refinance - Moodys and other credit agencies have been burnt badly and are cautious with most recommendations. IMO they have been extremely conservative wtih CER, in fact most investors and so called analysts have too been overly conservative with CER in the current environment. As the economy begins to rise we shall see some significant upside in CER and other REITS
