Chrisoil was certainly a good read scrolling through the comments. It was interesting to note a couple of comments which have been absent from other posters in th UK, and that is the value of the australian assets which have been well underestimated, as everyone mentions Morocco, But Chrisoil makes specific mention of them, which is good.
And the other thing was the mention of the latest cap-rasing being specifically for acquistions, which is fantastic as this is like investing capital, should add underlying value to the company.
Personally, I think the australian assets will place a floor under the shareprice when the market, sooner or later, finally recognises the value and low risk of these assets in the location they are in.
Also read today BHP had re-focused back to westaustralian off-shore gas recently which is a positive for the entire area up there.
As i have said for a while there are so many positives for this company given size of assets, locations, and % holdings and soone ror later the ,market will give it a big re-rating.
On a technical view point, we are still working through a messy area on the short term charts so expect it to be a bit bumpy as we move away from these lows
