Maybe because GXY is not for sale!!!
Fair price for GXY would start with US$2b+...... which is a long way from where we are at today.
Therefore, is it Li supply that is more important to POSCO (and others) or reducing competition?
Either way, POSCO will have to pay a fair price - as would anyone else.
There's no point in us speculating or trying to second guess what's happening. We have to remain patient. The market makers are just digging themselves into a deeper hole. We just have to sit and watch the mess they are making for us (initially) and then to their own balance sheets (once GXY make their move).
It may be better to be a little scarce on these forums for a while. There's nothing we can do but watch. And goodness knows, there is no value in reading some of the cr@p that has been spewed on the GXY threads the last few weeks.
