We’ve been waiting on preclinical news about HBV (which kills more than half a million people each year) for two years. We haven’t even settled on a compound yet, with animal testing still to come.

The exploratory trial (BIT009) took three years to report fully.

CV compound testing will take a long time and they won’t be updating us every five minutes. Then there will be animal testing, tox testing and a safety trial. Unless 225 shows promise there will be a very long wait. Even then, who knows what the world will come up with. By then we may have found other cures or a vaccine.

The rampers on here have created false expectations. The next thing that happens is that people blame the company for what they see as delays, instead of taking responsibility.
