For those who are not yet aware, the DEC has spoken about 10 to 12 hours ago in the US ......and are wanting a review of Health impacts before lifting the moratorium on fracking in New York State.
It is just after midday on Saturday (Australia time) as I type this.
You can read the story by googling 'latest news on gas fracking in New York State'.
Most major US newspapers are now starting to report the latest in the NY State fracking saga, so it will not be hard to find the story.
Mixed reactions in NY State, as you would expect with some pro-fracking groups saying that at least if the fracking goes ahead after the health impact review, it will be easier to
overcome the inevitable legal challenges to fracking in the State.
Anyway, best to read the story for yourselves and draw your won conclusions.
