Major Kalahari shareholder Niger Uranium (URU:AIM) appears to have been busy on its own account: http://fool.uk-wire.com/cgi-bin/articles/200903161015158953O.html
'Niger Uranium is pleased to announce that initial results from sonic core drilling at Henkries Central, part of the Henkries Project in South Africa, confirm the presence of uranium mineralisation at shallow depths...'
Of interest around this announcement are a few points:
1. I understand that URU has no intention of selling any of its 27.7m Kalahari shares at anything like the current SP
2. By my reckoning, URU has only around US$2m of cash currently (maybe less, US$3.3m when last reported as at 30Sep2008)
3. David Weill was appointed Chairman of URU on 24th February
4. David Weill was appointed a director of Kalahari on 9th March, to replace Steve Galloway, now Extract's Chairman
5. David Weill was appointed as Head of NWT Uranium's Advisory Board of 11th March (NWT own ~30% of URU)
6. URU's SP has gained about 80% since mid-February.

Mark
