    Hi @Taurisk

This has been a first for me - I recall my mother making 'nokedli' noodles (similar to German spatzle), another thing called 'csipetke' (pinched noodles and 'galuska' (semolina dumpling). She also made a thing called 'turos csisza' - home made noodles mixed with cottage cheese, topped with sour cream, spring onions and crispy fried bacon (speck) - most hungarians seem to like their 'heavy meals' - particularly in winter.

Another popular dish is 'layered potato' and of course the 'gulyas leves' or 'paprikas' - some yummy dishes. Apparently they even make unusual things like 'sour cherry soup' and deliciousness of creations like 'dobos and 'eszterhazy' torta'. With all that food there really is no reason for hungry Hungarians - perhaps hungry Ungarische in Ungarn? smile.png
