Yes Jongerd - the drag on the battery would be another key issue. A more powerful battery to achieve the same economy would be needed thus increasing costs.
When I was invested in battery stocks the weight of EV'S was critical and all EV manufacturers were pulling out all stops/tech/innovation to improve efficiencies and weight was the most critical factor. Elon the great - just another waffle of many he has accumulated.
