I was fortunate enough to take a hit and whittle down the non performers about 12 - 18 months ago. Never easy selling a company one has faith in, esp when it's in the doldrums. But there are times when a switch can make all the difference. It's a bit like the Aussie guy who has a shed full of tools for that one day they may be useful. Once cleared out though, it certainly gives one a fresh perspective on needs, not to mention a greener portfolio to boot.
Now holding a respectable portfolio that I feel is right in the current environment, which leads to another dilemma. Which ones to sell to buy more WA8? Just pondering mind you and not asking advice. Promised the missus the cash reserve to share ratio would remain intact. The things we promise...hehe.
The opportunities out there for solid resource plays is really good at the moment, and it is nice to see the tide turn positive for explorers and junior miners. Looking forward to WA8 making strides upwards as they gain a firmer understanding and I will assume better MRE as they update.
