Kingston Resources divested its Misima gold project in PNG this week for about $100M. Whilst completely different to Warriedar's Big Springs project in the USA, there are a few salient points. The project was a distraction, worthy in its own right and very compelling for the right suiter.
In short, the funds inflow will potentially take KSN to the next level, remove the distraction and be a real boom for shareholders, as theshare price is up about 30% already this week.
Depending on how you view this, whilst they'll never get Misima back, it appears to be the right move at the right time.
