Interestingly I tried to buy at 0.110 due to the huge queue at 0.105 and was rejected by CMC due to the small volume
Admittedly it was a smallish volume and maybe I just wanted to see 0.11 but WTF ???
No where is it documented anywhere that you can't put in a small order (mine was 2000 and I own orders of magnitude more than $500) ...
The only thing on their support site is :- What is the minimum order size? Australian Securities When buying shares in any ASX-listed security for the first time, the ASX prohibits the settlement of any transaction that would establish a holding of less than $500 (known as a marketable parcel).There is no minimum trade value requirement for a buy order if you already hold the security you intend to purchase in the same account, and it is worth at least $500.
But apparently they were worried about Market manipulation and said I should just try buying more until it magically worked !?!?
