The tone and equanimity of ESG's threads has really changed for the worst.

I'm sure many people have been bullied out of these discussions.

There's far too much grandstanding, ridicule and piety from some ... given HC is really just an informal forum for the exchange ideas and as you say ... daydreams.

For example, what does it matter what i say or think .. thats my business .. given the anonimity - posting on HC is akin to thinking aloud. That some feel compelled to yell me down or ridicule me says much more about their own agenda and inadequacies than my lack of insight.

I've come round to thinking that there are some out there living vicariously through their HC persona and maybe they should get a real life!
