5 years? There's only one place you could have got that figure. For one thing, POO has recovered somewhat overnight and will continue - especially as shale oil disappears from supply. Cheap petroleum fuel will dissipate quickly.
Most countries are already looking at removing some restrictions, and human trials for Covid 19 vaccine have begun. I think it's more likely that EV adoption may be setback for around the same time it takes for economies to recover.
There is also another perspective - that EV adoption may be used to stimulate economies....
