I was also thinking shanshan as the possibly new supplier.. Tesla's has sercured an Offtake Agreement in the past with kidman resources so he dose have the time to deal with miners.
My thinking is a possibility to swim a bit further upstream from SS to ajm to strengthen a deal for higher security of supplies.
Tesla aslo has a team which follows the mineral space and supply chain so they are fully aware of future shortages.
Although this is speculative thinking regardless of who the new partner may be this dose bode well for the sector as other OEM's will second guess there suppliers.
