@sabine once the prepay is repaid, ganfeng has no vested interest in ajm, what is to stop them from switching over to pls where they do have a material vested equity interest. In other words why would they not be looking after themselves first. I'm not saying it will happen but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be hard to tweak the hydroxide plant to take product from the same ore body across the fence.
They may be willing to support ajm, but as has been said, any support will be geared towards their own shareholders first.
Unfortunately in the current environment the producers have next to no leverage.
Ajm needs to continue doing exactly what it has been doing, getting costs down and shipping what it produces.
