For those who dont know, what Ian marfarlane is talking about when he says baseload power is the amount of power needed at all times. Wind and other renewable sources cant guarantee this, as they are inconsistent - wave power can, as these systems can operate on tiny amounts of swell.

What that means to me is that this is quite possibly the front runner to power the Binningup desal plant - probably worht around $500mill (at a guess) for the power component.
