Oct 2017 : At the same time, Greenpeace warns that the proposal to remove the Cínovec deposit to Geomet, sro, and its allocation to the state-owned company Diamo (as suggested by some politicians in recent days) is impossible. According to the Mining Act, the company has carried out a preferential right to determine the mining area and permit for mining activities at its own expense. Withdrawal of Geometry and favoring a state-owned company would inevitably lead to international arbitrage, which the Czech Republic would most likely lose.
