YOU can’t afford to miss Pure Speculation. Back on November 9, we reported this:
Coalworks has increased its coal results at Oaklands in southern NSW to 822 million tonnes. The original plan had been to export the coal, but with the falling price and the higher dollar, this no longer looks so good. So the company is now focusing on a coal-to-gasoline development, which comes under the "clean coal" umbrella.
This morning Coalworks confirmed our report saying that it had struck a deal with Nasdaq-listed Synthesis Energy Systems to develop a coal gasification and liquefaction plant at Oaklands, NSW to produce synthetic gasoline.
Not that we’re bragging, of course.
