Media inciting terrorist act, page-7

around the time you posted channel 7 were still showing a live camera feed of the cafe with the victims hands pressed up against the windows. At one point the gunman had the isis flag moved from one window into another. Obviously he wanted the camera angle to be a little better from the 7 studio on the other side. there were camera switches to swat police positions which i thought at the time would be key info for the terrorists. eventually channel 7 stopped showing the images "due to security" concerns. you'd think management could figure out for themselves they were helping the terrorist cause but they had to be told to switch the feed off.

I dont need to see live victims in windows of a terror siege - i can take the announcers word for it. terrible imagery but also what they wanted us to see. Its a very obvious strategic choice that cafe being opposite a news studio.

by all means record it for security purposes, but i dont think the live feed was necessary
