Centres with low occupancy, will of course, experience reduced funding. Coffs Harbour is a good example of how low occupancy levels are currently; reports show occupancy for 2015 was 95%, in 2016 it was 77% and it is currently tracking between 50-60%. It's not just Coffs Harbour, there are many areas in both CBD and regional Australia with centres experiencing their lowest occupancy levels for years.
