Should have DYOR before you got sucked into the Lynas story spinned by some LT holders who got in above $20 at post consolidation prices. Go back a few years to look at history of Condisoil and the other schemes Lynas came up with so they could get rid of radioactive waste without having to build a waste storage facility. Or ask your resident experts ausheds and goofy because we went though this arguments previously.
Condisoil never made sense and IMO was only used as a delaying tactic to avoid having to build the storage facility. Also ease up on the Kool-Aid and look at the complete picture of LAMP in Malaysia , the plant should have never been built there, was never wanted by locals and only the use of police and army to disperse or arrest the protesters got the plant off the ground. Now that is operating you better pray it won't be shut down by the new government.
Here is an article on Mitsubishi who just up to 2011 coughed up US$100M for the cleanup damages and barely scratched the surface. That will give you some idea of what can happen,

If LAMP is closed down for whatever reason Lynas better have cleanup insurance and lots of it because the gov will milk it for damages for decades just like they did with Mitsubishi and lawyers will have a field day with it.
