There would not be that many that got caught between 34 and 39.5 because it wasn’t trading there for long. Most supply is below 30c.
And therefore the counter argument would be that there are many NOt wanting to sell so as not to incur CGT event and to want to ensure they get 50% discount by being in for 12 months.
This IMHO is not the stock people would be selling to crystallize losses.
There would not be that many that got caught between 34 and 39.5...
