Noticed HC themselves were on the losing stakes today.
Also read today's Australian's newspaper article re 9EC's complaint to the ACCC re unfairness in revenue distribution/advertising $ [& competition from fb etc] which 9EC said if not addressed will lead to the reduction in the standard of journalism in Australia. As if we haven't witnessed that to date. As if 9EC can prove that they are themselves upholding any standard or integrity in journalism.
Online click metrics (revenue/advertising) versus journalistic ethics and integrity.
HotCopper now entering publishing....clicks and usage will probably determine whether they consider the venture a success. Quality of content .... will they care. Similar to above.
